Mission
What you will drive
- Provide legal mentoring and technical assistance to pro bono attorneys, legal service providers, and trained volunteers working with immigrant families.
- Review family reunification materials, sponsor documentation, and related case information within VECINA's scope of support.
- Develop and deliver trainings on ORR processes, sponsor documentation, family preparedness, sponsor risk assessment, and policy changes.
- Monitor ORR policy, litigation, and emerging practices, translating developments into practical guidance.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar license in good standing.
- At least 2 years of immigration law experience, preferably including work with unaccompanied children, ORR reunification, family based immigration, asylum, or removal defense.
- Strong legal writing, research, issue spotting, and communication skills.
- Experience providing legal mentorship, technical assistance, supervision, or support to attorneys, volunteers, or community partners.
