Market Analyst

• Build and ship new BESS revenue modelling features, working with engineering to deploy them directly to customers.
• Coach Ko, our AI analyst: ingest new datasets, train Ko to answer questions, and guide the regional market roadmap.
• Maintain products customers depend on, keeping forecasts, benchmarks, and data feeds running at high quality.
• Manage product release processes end-to-end: tracking model updates, communicating impact, deploying artefacts on the Modo Terminal.

This role accelerates the energy transition by providing critical data and analytics that enable investors, developers, and operators to make informed decisions about battery energy storage and renewable energy projects.

• Comfortable building tools and workflows using AI.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in power markets, energy analytics, data, or a technical analyst role.
• Proficient in Python and SQL, able to interrogate complex datasets and pick up new tools quickly.
• Familiarity with battery energy storage or wider energy transition themes.
