Major Gifts Officer

• Lead major and planned giving efforts across Camphill Village and Camphill Ghent, managing a portfolio of 75–125 major gift prospects and donors.
• Develop and execute individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies, conducting 80–100 substantive donor visits annually.
• Identify, qualify, and build a pipeline of new major gift prospects through research, referrals, and network development.
• Integrate planned giving into major gift conversations and grow the legacy society and endowment support.

This role directly supports Camphill's mission of creating inclusive communities for people with disabilities and elders, ensuring sustainable funding for programs that foster dignity, meaningful work, and shared life.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive fundraising experience with a demonstrated track record of securing major gifts.
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio and close five-figure and higher gifts.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills; ability to travel regionally and nationally.

Remote position with on-site presence expected twice monthly. Opportunity to work with mission-driven communities. No salary mentioned.
