What you will drive

As Supervising Attorney, you will:

  • Supervise attorneys and advocates, including workload management, training, mentoring, and monitoring staff.
  • Lead a work team to develop and implement strategies to accomplish team goals, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the ACE Supervision Team on projects, hiring, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Perform outreach and support community-based advocacy to underserved communities.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) and membership in the California State Bar.
  • 7+ years of experience practicing law (or 6 years for internal candidates with 3 years at DRC).
  • 2+ years of experience supervising law clerks, attorneys, or advocates.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with people with disabilities and low-income clients, incorporating race equity and community lawyering principles.
