Licensing Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Apply nuclear regulatory knowledge and experience to support engineering development towards meeting licensing requirements
• Work closely with design engineers to understand, interpret, and inform design basis for compliance with U.S. nuclear regulations
• Develop documentation to support licensing for pre-application activities and license application submittal and review
• Coordinate with nuclear regulators and prepare/defend licensing positions where existing regulatory framework doesn't apply

This role helps advance clean, reliable, and affordable nuclear energy at scale by ensuring regulatory compliance for advanced fission power plants, contributing to the transition away from fossil fuels.

Required qualifications:

• BS in engineering from an accredited college or university (experience may qualify)
• Knowledge of 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 52, along with NRC Regulatory Guides and other regulatory guidance
• Demonstrated coordination skills and ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills including ability to communicate highly technical content verbally

Salary: $50,000-$166,000 (dependent on experience)
