Role details

A 10-week summer clerkship for law students to develop legislative advocacy skills while supporting animal protection campaigns and policy work.
- Research policy issues, analyze legislation, draft memos, and assist with legislative strategy and coalition-building.
- Prepare outreach materials, attend hearings and advocacy events, and coordinate with other programs on animal protection campaigns.
- Develop website content, email alerts, and presentations for advocacy trainings and public officials.
- Current 2L or LLM student at ABA-accredited law school with strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Interest in animal law and ability to work independently in remote, mission-driven environment required.
