Engineering Manager, Data & Clinical Integration Teams

• Lead the Clinical Integration and Data teams to convert EHR clinical data into trustworthy, query-ready insights that measurably demonstrate health outcomes.
• Own the technical strategy and roadmap for clinical data pipelines, from EHR integration through medallion architecture and reporting.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering practices and scale insight generation through AI/ML and human analysis.
• Manage shared roadmaps, dependencies, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Customer Success, and Compliance.

This role directly advances health equity for low-income populations by ensuring that clinical data from safety-net healthcare organizations is transformed into actionable insights, enabling CareMessage to measurably improve clinical outcomes and address social drivers of health at scale.

• 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager over Integration and/or Data Engineering teams in early-to-growth-stage remote startups.
• Strong technical acumen in SQL, data pipelines (ELT), cloud data warehousing (GCP/BigQuery), and modern AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Proven ability to lead long-term technical projects, mentor engineers, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fully remote environment; must reside in the United States.

Salary: $199,000 (L3 Manager level).
