Software Engineer II, L2 Integrations Team

• Deliver scoped integration work connecting external systems to CareMessage's platform in a reliable, maintainable, and secure way.
• Build and maintain API-to-API integrations, direct database connections, and FHIR/HL7-based workflows with leading EHRs.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to understand integration requirements and implementation details.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of scalable healthcare integration architecture.

This role directly improves health equity for low-income populations by building integrations that connect safety-net healthcare providers to CareMessage's patient engagement platform, enabling better access to care and improved clinical outcomes.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience with JavaScript and one other programming language.
• Minimum 3 years experience building, maintaining, and scaling backend systems, APIs, and services.
• Solid fundamentals of computer programming, including software development lifecycle, coding best practices, design patterns, and object-oriented architecture.
• Experience working in teams where automated tests are an expected part of development.
