Mission
What you will drive
- Lead and manage the Messaging and Applications engineering teams, overseeing technical direction, roadmap execution, and team performance.
- Drive the development and scaling of CareMessage's core patient engagement platform, including messaging infrastructure (SMS, voice, MMS) and provider-facing web application.
- Champion AI-assisted engineering practices, modern development workflows, and ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable product delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, Data, and Engineering to design features that deepen patient engagement and improve health outcomes.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- At least 5 years of successful experience as an Engineering Manager over product/application engineering in early-to-growth-stage remote startups.
- Strong technical acumen with deep understanding of building and operating customer-facing web applications (web frameworks, relational databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure).
- Proven track record of adopting modern development practices and leveraging AI-assisted tooling to raise engineering velocity and quality.
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and mentorship skills, with ability to lead distributed teams and drive measurable outcomes.
