Technology Transactions Attorney (Morgantown, WV)

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including technology license, SaaS, NDA, proof-of-concept, MOU, and vendor agreements.
• Provide legal support for innovation ecosystem initiatives, strategic partnerships, investment activities, and accelerator programs.
• Advise business stakeholders on intellectual property rights, risk mitigation, and commercial legal matters related to emerging technologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, business, R&D, and operational teams in a global matrixed organization.

This role supports innovation initiatives that drive technological advancement and economic growth, enabling the development of new products and services that can improve lives and create positive societal change.

• 5–9 years of relevant legal experience, preferably including both law firm and in-house experience.
• Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial technology agreements.
• Experience negotiating intellectual property rights and advising on IP-related commercial matters.
• JD degree and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
