Data Scientist

• Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports that give stakeholders clear, timely visibility into performance.
• Write and optimize SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand their questions, define metrics, and translate requirements into analytics that drive decisions.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through validation, de-duplication, and reconciliation of reporting outputs.

Your work will directly support ALX Africa's mission to unlock tech careers for millions of young Africans by providing data-driven insights that improve decision-making and program effectiveness.

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a data science, analytics, or business intelligence role.
• Strong, demonstrable SQL skills, including writing complex queries and working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, manipulation, and automation.
• Proven experience building dashboards and reports in tools like QuickSight, Metabase, or Power BI.
