IT Procurement Manager

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for IT services and software, focusing on high-value, complex contracts across the Americas and globally.
• Lead negotiations with major software, cloud, and hardware vendors to secure favorable terms, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, and monitoring IT agreements (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, licensing, professional services).
• Collaborate with global procurement team and IT leadership to execute category strategies and drive impactful outcomes.

This role drives cost efficiency and risk mitigation in IT procurement, enabling Hitachi Digital to invest more in innovation and deliver digital transformation solutions that create positive societal impact.

• 5+ years of experience negotiating with IT suppliers, especially software suppliers, executing IT RFPs, and partnering with IT leaders.
• Proven track record negotiating large, complex, high-dollar IT software contracts with significant cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Strong understanding of procurement law and ability to negotiate various agreement types.
• Bachelor's degree required; certifications in procurement (e.g., ISM) are a plus.
