Mission

What you will drive

  • Monitor and analyze external policy, donor, geopolitical, and humanitarian trends to surface risks and opportunities for Plan International.
  • Produce timely intelligence outputs including briefings, horizon scans, and strategic memos for senior leadership.
  • Build and sustain networks with foresight leaders, economists, and analysts across multilateral institutions, think tanks, and the private sector.
  • Support global strategy design by synthesizing intelligence into actionable recommendations.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Strong analytical background in economics, political economy, international relations, development, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in intelligence analysis, policy research, horizon scanning, or strategic foresight within INGO, multilateral, government, or consultancy contexts.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable outputs for senior non-specialist audiences.
  • Experience applying macro-economic trends and fiscal analysis to development contexts.
