Mission
What you will drive
- Monitor and analyze external policy, donor, geopolitical, and humanitarian trends to surface risks and opportunities for Plan International's positioning and strategic decision-making.
- Produce high-stakes briefings, intelligence reports, and strategic memos for the CEO, Leadership Team, and International Board.
- Build and sustain networks with foresight leaders, economists, and analysts across multilateral institutions, think tanks, academia, and the private sector to exchange early-warning signals and emerging policy shifts.
- Maintain a live intelligence repository and horizon-scanning system, incorporating diverse knowledge sources including Global South research institutions.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Strong analytical background in economics, political economy, international relations, development, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in intelligence analysis, policy research, economic trends analysis, horizon scanning, or strategic foresight within an INGO, multilateral, government, consultancy, or research institution.
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of complex information into clear, actionable intelligence outputs and recommendations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex findings to senior non-specialist audiences.
