Infectious Disease (ID) Outbreak Nurse – Register

• Provide expertise and knowledge in emergency and outbreak medical care for infectious disease responses.
• Assess current practices, develop action plans, and implement necessary actions in low-resource humanitarian settings.
• Deploy internationally at short notice for outbreak responses, typically lasting around 6 weeks plus quarantine.

This role directly contributes to saving lives and controlling infectious disease outbreaks in humanitarian crises, ensuring vulnerable populations receive critical medical care.

• Current nursing license and unconditional membership of a suitable registering organization.
• Specific qualifications/professional registration in Nursing Science/Degree.
• Experience practicing nursing in low resource/humanitarian contexts is highly desirable but not essential.
• Additional qualifications in facility assessment and project management are a distinct advantage.
