Mission

What you will drive

As the Implementation Research partner for Plan International's Girls Get Equal programme, you will:

  • Design and conduct implementation research across three of four learning questions focusing on education, economic empowerment, civil society engagement, and SRHR/CSE in up to seven countries.
  • Generate evidence on programme contribution, relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, and learning to inform adaptive management and future programme design.
  • Produce deliverables including inception report, interim learning briefs, draft and final research reports, cross-country synthesis note, and dissemination products.
  • Embed gender equality, youth participation, and local partnership principles throughout the research process.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • PhD or higher academic qualifications in social science or relevant field.
  • Minimum five years' experience in academic research and/or programme reviews in international development.
  • Demonstrated experience in gender-responsive and inclusive research design, participatory methods, and meaningful youth engagement.
  • Documented expertise in at least one of: child early forced marriage, SRHR, education, civil society engagement, or youth economic empowerment.
