What you will drive
Aledo Children's AdvoCats is hiring its first Executive Director. Founded in 2002, AdvoCats has been built and run entirely by a working volunteer board. As one of three strategic partners with Aledo ISD, we've spent more than 20 years showing up for children and families in Aledo ISD communities and we're ready for our next chapter. We're looking for our first Executive Director: a hands-on leader who will drive day-to-day operations, grow our fundraising, strengthen community relationships, and serve as the public face of AdvoCats. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors. What we're looking for: Experience in nonprofit leadership or comparable community-based roles Demonstrated fundraising experience and comfort working with donors Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills High emotional intelligence and ability to work with a volunteer board and diverse personalities Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a part-time, hands-on role Familiarity with the Aledo ISD community preferred College degree preferred Position details: Half-time, salaried position While this is a remote position, the applicant must be present in Aledo, TX on a regular basis to be the face of AdvoCats.
