Fundraising Coordinator (part-time, remote)

• Lead donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to grow annual individual giving and strengthen donor retention.
• Write and execute fundraising appeals across email, mail, and digital channels; manage foundation grant proposals and reports.
• Plan and oversee CHOSA’s annual fundraising event in Los Angeles and develop donor engagement events in other U.S. cities.
• Maintain the Little Green Light donor database and oversee donor-facing communications across website, email newsletters, and social media.

This role directly supports community-led programs in South Africa that improve education, youth development, and family wellbeing, enabling CHOSA to sustain and grow its impact for children and families in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

• 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated success securing individual gifts and/or unrestricted grants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing donor databases and working remotely independently.

Part-time (20 hours/week) independent contractor role. Salary: $3,350 per month (approx. $40,200 annually) plus reimbursement for phone, internet, healthcare, and professional development. Fully remote from any major U.S. city.
