Fractional Development Director (Consultant)

As Fractional Development Director, you will:

• Assess the current development operation and set clear priorities and a realistic work plan.
• Strengthen development systems, workflows, documentation, and management practices.
• Advise on major-gifts strategy, moves management, and donor-pipeline practices.
• Build administrative capacity and help design the development team's structure.

This role strengthens the infrastructure for a sustainable development program, enabling Catholics for Choice to amplify pro-choice Catholic voices and counter institutional overreach around reproductive freedom.

We are looking for:

• A senior development leader with substantial experience building and leading major-gifts-focused nonprofit development programs, plus institutional fundraising oversight.
• Demonstrated experience designing development systems, management practices, and team structures.
• Comfort moving between strategic advising and hands-on implementation.
• Ability to establish credibility quickly in a remote organization.

Part-time, fully remote (U.S.) consulting engagement. Approximately six to nine months. CFC is open to hourly, monthly retainer, or fixed-fee proposals. Salary not specified.
