Role details
Lead the creation of a new animal welfare technology company from concept through launch as a venture studio founder in residence.
- Develop market expertise, validate customer demand, and define business strategy with Spring's research foundation and pre-seed capital (~$500k).
- Exercise founder-level ownership: navigate ambiguity, make strategic decisions, build partnerships with industry stakeholders, and lead fundraising.
- Recruit co-founders and team members across technical, sales, and key functions; serve as primary external representative.
- Requires founder or senior startup leadership experience with proven ability to bring new products to market and raise capital.
- Frequent travel required to engage partners, customers, and investors as business needs demand.
