Field Service Engineer (Utility BESS)

• Support and execute on-site installations and commissioning works of Trina's energy storage projects in the UK.
• Supervise project site activities, ensure smooth delivery of equipment, and report progress to engineering and project managers.
• Support resolving quality issues and punch list items, and contribute to the development of service and maintenance structures.

This role directly supports the deployment and maintenance of utility-scale battery energy storage systems, enabling the integration of renewable energy and contributing to the transition to a low-carbon grid.

• Suitable engineering degree or qualifications.
• Related experience in commissioning or maintenance of electrical equipment in Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
• Experience adhering to safety regulations (CDM) in an operational setting; familiar with electrical standards (BS 7671, 18th edition).
• Strong site experience, hands-on mentality, and willingness to travel heavily; CSCS card holder or equivalent.
