ESS Delivery Project Manager - UK

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of utility-scale and C&I Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK, owning scope, schedule, budget, and quality from kick-off to handover.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, EPCs, system integrators, investors, and technical advisors throughout the entire project journey.
• Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and external contractors, keeping everyone aligned and moving forward.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, delivery schedules, and commissioning documentation.

By delivering large-scale battery energy storage projects, you will directly contribute to the UK's clean energy transition, helping to stabilize the grid and integrate more renewable energy sources.

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a comparable technical field.
• At least 3-5 years of hands-on project management experience in the energy storage, solar PV, or broader renewable energy sector.
• Solid technical understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including PCS, BMS, grid connection requirements, and utility-scale storage architecture.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM are highly desirable.
