Energy System Modeler and Project Developer (San Diego / Remote)

Core responsibilities:

• Create technical and economic models of onsite energy systems
• Gather and estimate model assumptions through various means including customer information, public resources, and internal databases
• Act as a customer success specialist, presenting and explaining model inputs and results to customers
• Support customers throughout the project development lifecycle and provide feedback to the product team

This role accelerates the clean energy transition by building models and developing projects that connect commercial and industrial energy users with renewable energy providers, helping deploy renewable-led onsite energy systems across North America and Australia.

Required qualifications:

• Strong quantitative background: bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
• Experience working with economic modeling and/or energy system analysis
• Comfortable working remotely
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
