Mission

What you will drive

  • Support the Policy Director and DMEE team in educating and supporting state energy decision makers, planning regional and national educational forums, and designing state-based strategies for decision-maker education and engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders including advocacy groups, industry experts, and agency staff.
  • Develop and lead education initiatives across a portfolio of Central states, assessing and creating opportunities for knowledge-building and support.
  • Conduct in-depth research on regulatory frameworks, energy technology, and policy to inform strategic approaches and educational content development.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience, with at least some in policy and/or market analysis, policy advocacy, or government affairs.
  • Familiarity with the advanced energy industry, clean energy advocacy community, and/or state government or utilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with regulators and stakeholders, and excellent communication skills.
