Mission

What you will drive

As Executive Assistant to the Regional Director, you will:

  • Monitor implementation of HI's strategies and policies, ensuring internal controls and compliance with global policies (PSEAH, child protection, fraud, etc.).
  • Contribute to capacity building by identifying skill development needs, mentoring senior operational staff, and supporting recruitment.
  • Lead emergency preparedness and response at the regional level, including defining REACT action plans and maintaining early warning systems.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support the Operational Strategy, facilitate communication, and represent the regional programme in meetings.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Master's degree or equivalent in social sciences, politics, international relations, economics, or engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience in a similar role with demonstrable direct experience in fundraising.
  • Previous work experience in an international humanitarian NGO or international company.
  • Expert-level written and oral communication in English; strong leadership, diplomacy, and resilience to stress.
