Director of Strategy

• Translate the Executive Director's vision into organizational strategy and execution, converting priorities into quarterly and annual plans.
• Shape EdFund's brand identity and craft external-facing materials to differentiate the organization in the education finance landscape.
• Lead partnerships and development engagement, including outreach to foundations and strategic partners, and manage day-to-day cultivation efforts.
• Drive internal system improvements, standardize processes, and manage cross-functional team projects to increase efficiency.

This role ensures that high-quality education finance research is effectively translated into actionable policy solutions, helping to align resources with students' needs and drive more equitable education outcomes.

• At least 10 years of experience in nonprofit education, education policy/finance, management, or consulting with demonstrated experience in strategy, partnerships, or communications.
• Experience scaling organizations or programs; strong project management and organizational design experience.
• Exceptional written and oral communication; ability to translate complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Proven track record in building and managing external relationships; familiarity with education finance or state policy preferred.
