Director of Operations

Build operational systems and processes to enable a nonprofit's growth from 5 to 14 staff while establishing independent 501(c)(3) status.
- Lead transition from fiscal sponsorship to independent nonprofit, including banking, accounting, payroll, insurance, and legal compliance setup.
- Own finance operations: budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit-readiness, and multi-year planning for a multi-million dollar budget.
- Manage people operations for international remote team: contracts, policies, and compliance as an independent 501(c)(3).
- Requires significant operations leadership experience across finance, legal, compliance, and people operations at director level.
- Nonprofit 501(c)(3) experience and international contractor setup experience highly beneficial; comfort with AI tools essential.
