Director of Global Programmes

• Lead Tearfund's global programme portfolio comprising development, humanitarian, and influencing work.
• Ensure programmes deliver high-quality, contextually relevant and measurable impact through churches, partners and operational teams.
• Accountable for programme strategy, portfolio performance, quality, impact, regional leadership, cross-organisational alignment, and stewardship of resources, risks and relationships.

This role directly contributes to Tearfund's vision of seeing people freed from poverty, living transformed lives, and reaching their God-given potential, by leading programmes that address economic, material, environmental, and spiritual poverty.

• Extensive senior executive leadership experience in international development and humanitarian settings, including oversight of large, complex, multi-country programmes.
• Deep operational and technical expertise in programme quality, safeguarding, monitoring and evaluation, risk management, localisation and partnership models.
• Strong financial oversight and lived experience in the Global South.
• Demonstrates a vibrant Christian commitment and desire to embed faith in all aspects of work and leadership.

Salary and benefits commensurate with the seniority of the position and according to location. Permanent contract.
