Director of Communications

• Lead and grow a high-performing team across content, brand, PR, social, and proposals, setting quality standards and leveraging AI to scale output.
• Define Swiftly's brand strategy, build narrative systems, and develop content strategy that builds reputation and contributes to revenue.
• Develop and execute proactive media and thought leadership strategy, and serve as strategic communications advisor to senior leadership.
• Establish media monitoring, crisis communications planning, and support investor and customer communications.

This role helps cities move more efficiently by improving transit service reliability and ridership through better communications, ultimately contributing to more sustainable and accessible urban mobility.

• 10+ years in communications, corporate marketing, or brand with leadership experience at a fast-growing B2B SaaS or mission-driven tech company.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams across content, brand, PR, and proposals.
• Track record of defining and moving a north star reputation metric, and shipping messaging frameworks or narrative platforms.
• Experience communicating to public sector, government, or civic audiences preferred; background in transit, mobility, or civic technology a plus.
