What you will drive
Lead communications strategy and media relations for a national animal law advocacy organization advancing animal protection in Canada.
- Develop multi-channel communications strategies to raise Animal Justice's public profile and shape national conversations on animal protection.
- Build relationships with media, lawmakers, and influencers; position organization and spokespeople as trusted experts on animal law issues.
- Supervise communications and public relations staff; oversee media strategy, earned media, advertising, and campaign communications planning.
- Requires demonstrated impact in advocacy, political, nonprofit, or public affairs communications; experience supervising staff strongly preferred.
- Excellent writing, strategic thinking, and understanding of Canada's political and media landscape essential.
