Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead and execute litigation efforts to protect the rights of low-income immigrant communities, including serving as lead counsel in complex impact litigation.
  • Develop and oversee litigation strategy integrated with policy advocacy, communications, and movement building.
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of attorneys, paralegals, and fellows.
  • Represent NILC externally with media, funders, and partners.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited school and active bar membership in good standing.
  • At least 10 years of litigation experience including substantial federal court and appellate practice.
  • 4+ years of leadership/management experience including legal supervision and case development.
  • Demonstrated experience in immigration, education, healthcare, labor/employment, or civil rights law.

Salary range: $150,000–$170,000.
