Director - Global Head of Solar Research

• Define and drive the solar research agenda, anticipating emerging themes in the energy transition and ensuring high-quality datasets and written research.
• Develop thought-provoking research that challenges conventional wisdom and generates new insights for industry participants.
• Take commercial ownership of solar products and the product roadmap, aligning research with customer needs and identifying growth opportunities.
• Serve as the main point of contact for solar products, communicating changes to sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams.

This role accelerates the energy transition by providing critical research and insights that guide decisions of energy producers, utilities, financial institutions, and governments, ultimately helping to decarbonize economies and power the planet sustainably.

• Extensive experience in the power industry with considerable focus on solar energy, including research/consulting and hands-on experience at a renewable developer, solar supply chain company, or large power buyer.
• Deep understanding of global solar industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, with a strong network of industry contacts.
• Experience executing commercial strategies across marketing, sales, product, or other teams.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with an AI-forward mindset and excellent written and public speaking abilities.
