Director, Commercial Origination & Business Development

• Develop new relationships and leverage existing industry relationships to source deals, build a pipeline, structure deals, and execute agreements for AMP ONE sortation systems and sortation-as-a-service.
• Become an expert in AMP’s offering and present compelling product solutions to a range of customers.
• Identify strategic partnerships, conduct due diligence, and monitor market trends to drive growth.
• Build strong relationships with private and public stakeholders to maximize repeat projects in target regions.

This role drives the adoption of AI-powered recycling sortation systems, reducing waste and increasing resource recovery, thereby contributing to a more sustainable and circular economy.

• 10+ years of experience in commercial or business development roles, including originating, structuring, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Excellent strategic thinking with attention to detail, and experience generating leads for new business.
• Ability to build and use project-level financial models to evaluate projects and drive decision-making.
• Strong consultative/value selling skills and ability to influence adoption of new technology; Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
