Development Systems & Grants Director

• Architect and manage Nuru's private and corporate fundraising systems, including CRM, proposal pipelines, and knowledge management processes.
• Lead the writing, editing, and execution of high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports for private and corporate donors.
• Oversee data governance, CRM processes, and operational workflows to ensure Salesforce remains the trusted source of truth.
• Integrate AI-enabled workflows to accelerate content creation and preserve institutional memory.

This role directly supports Nuru's mission to break cycles of unjust poverty by enabling smallholder farmers to transition from subsistence to professionalized farming, through effective fundraising and systems that amplify organizational impact.

• 7+ years of professional experience with a global NGO, social enterprise, or impact investing environment.
• Solid technical understanding of global nonprofit development and rural livelihoods (e.g., agriculture, food systems, climate resilience).
• Proven experience leading grant proposal development, donor reporting, and cross-functional projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing AI productivity tools to optimize workflows.

Salary: $108,000 - $120,000 USD. Full-time, 100% remote. Flexible remote-first model since 2008. Must maintain regular working overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.
