FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGER

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee grant and contract financial management, including budgeting, expenditure monitoring, and compliance with funder requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform organizational decision-making.

This role ensures the financial integrity and sustainability of Prosperity Now, enabling the organization to effectively help communities and organizations strengthen financial security and address economic barriers to opportunity.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles, including restricted funding and grant accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online).

Salary between $80,314 and $124,487 annually. This is a remote, full-time role based in the United States with Eastern Time Zone business hours.
