What you will drive
- Develop a phased, prioritized implementation plan for the Philippines’ Voluntary Forest Carbon Market Roadmap (DAO 2026-02) with clear timelines, institutional responsibilities, and resource requirements.
- Conduct a regulatory and institutional stocktake to identify gaps and propose actionable recommendations for operationalizing the roadmap.
- Assess capacity-building needs across relevant government agencies and recommend targeted interventions.
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations and a national validation workshop to ensure inclusive and practical implementation.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in forestry, environmental science, climate policy, environmental economics, sustainable development, public policy, or related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in forest carbon policy, REDD+, voluntary carbon markets, and Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.
- Experience in institutional and regulatory analysis, capacity needs assessment, and multi-stakeholder engagement in developing-country contexts.
- Strong technical writing skills and fluency in English; proficiency in Filipino is an asset.
