Development Lead

• Write compelling grant proposals, concept notes, and reports to secure funding from foundations, donors, and bilateral partners.
• Manage the full lifecycle of active grants, including tracking deliverables, reporting deadlines, budget burn rates, and compliance.
• Support Co-Executive Directors in building and stewarding funder relationships, and maintain CRM as system of record.

This role directly enables Medic Mobile to scale its open-source Community Health Toolkit, empowering over 182,000 community health workers to deliver care to underserved populations across 24+ countries, ultimately improving health outcomes for millions.

• 5–7 years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience, with at least 3 years of progressive ownership of grants and proposal writing.
• Exceptional storytelling voice and ability to translate complex technical work into compelling funder narratives.
• Experience managing a portfolio: reporting, compliance, and budget management.
• Sharp organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently across a remote, globally distributed team.
