Community Organizer - Florida Families for Vaccines

• Recruit, train, and mobilize advocates including experts, parents, and community leaders.
• Develop and lead advocacy trainings, storytelling initiatives, and public testimony preparation.
• Assist in planning and executing statewide advocacy days and rapid response actions.
• Build and maintain a strong network of in-state partners and volunteers.

This role directly supports vaccine advocacy and public health in Florida, helping to protect immunization access and combat misinformation, thereby creating healthier communities.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in organizing, policy, public health, or advocacy.
• Deep knowledge of the state political and health landscape.
• Strong public speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with marginalized communities and commitment to evidence-based policy.

Part-time, hourly position at $30 per hour, less than 20 hours per week. High-autonomy role in a mission-driven environment.
