Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead and support safe, inclusive, and quality education programmes in crisis settings, ensuring children, especially girls, continue learning during emergencies.
  • Conduct rapid needs assessments, design gender-responsive EiE strategies, and develop funding proposals.
  • Represent Plan International in Education Clusters and coordination forums, collaborating with NGOs, UN agencies, and governments.
  • Contribute to global EiE strategy, technical guidance, and capacity strengthening when not deployed.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Proven experience designing and delivering Education in Emergencies programmes in complex humanitarian settings.
  • Strong knowledge of INEE Minimum Standards, child protection, safeguarding, gender equality, and inclusion.
  • Experience with Education Clusters, multi-sector coordination, needs assessments, M&E, and proposal writing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and representation skills; fluency in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, Arabic) an advantage.
