Corporate Counsel

• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements including equipment procurement, master service, product sales, and licensing agreements.
• Serve as day-to-day legal advisor to procurement, engineering, operations, commercial, and IP teams on active projects and strategic initiatives.
• Support development of scalable contracting processes, templates, and playbooks, and provide practical legal guidance on procurement, supply chain, and compliance matters.

This role directly supports Electra's mission to transform iron production with clean technology, reducing carbon emissions in heavy industry and contributing to a more sustainable future.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the United States.
• 4+ years of legal experience with a strong focus on commercial contracting, procurement, infrastructure, engineering, construction, manufacturing, energy, or other complex capital projects.
• Ability to provide clear, practical, and business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; business-minded with exceptional honesty, integrity, and professional judgment.

Compensation: $185,000-$215,000 annually. Benefits include 100% paid premiums for medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance; $1,800 annual HSA contribution; reasonable use PTO; 12 weeks paid parental leave; 401k with up to 5% matching (100% vesting on day one); eligibility for incentive stock options.
