Communications Manager, Development and Communications

Lead strategic communications and thought leadership for a global school health nonprofit, managing publications, media engagement, and brand messaging.
- Draft executive communications, op-eds, and speeches positioning Healthy Learners as a global school health leader.
- Create and maintain comprehensive communications strategy, messaging frameworks, and content calendars aligned with organizational milestones.
- Produce annual reports, collateral, and publications end-to-end; direct designers and external vendors.
- Shift media engagement from opportunistic to proactive; manage PR counsel and prepare leaders for interviews and press opportunities.
- Requires 6–9 years in strategic communications, public relations, or content production in global health or international development.
