Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead the implementation of AfaLab's communications strategy, translating it into annual and quarterly plans, and monitoring progress.
  • Produce high-quality written and visual content across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, website, newsletter) and manage digital communications.
  • Develop and maintain media relationships, draft press releases, and identify proactive media opportunities to increase coverage.
  • Provide strategic communications support for advocacy campaigns, reports, events, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, International Relations, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in communications, including implementing communications strategies and leading integrated campaigns.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; full professional proficiency in French (ability to independently develop and deliver high-quality communications in French).
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); working knowledge of video editing tools; experience managing websites, newsletters, and social media.
