Communication Intern

• Manage and grow MiR's presence across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X.
• Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with MiR's programmes, campaigns, and key events.
• Create and publish posts, stories, videos, and short-form content that reflect MiR's mission and impact.
• Monitor analytics and report regularly on platform performance and audience growth.

This role helps amplify the voice of an organization that promotes physical and mental health through sport and movement for conflict-affected communities, raising awareness and support for their mission.

• Student or early-career professional with a genuine interest in MiR's mission.
• Strong feel for social media and understanding of what makes content land.
• Creativity, consistency, and a genuine connection to the work.
• Background in communications, media, marketing, journalism, or related field is an advantage but not required.

Unpaid internship. Flexible hours (5–20 hours per week) over a minimum of 4 months. Remote position. Gain hands-on experience, a portfolio of published content, real responsibility, a formal reference letter, access to MiR's network, and mentorship from practitioners with field experience.
