What you will drive

  • Review certification applications, inspection reports, and supporting documentation to determine compliance with organic standards.
  • Serve as primary contact for assigned clients, providing information and responding to inquiries about organic certification.
  • Write compliance findings, including conditions, notifications of noncompliance, and adverse actions, and monitor response deadlines.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in agriculture, biology, environmental studies, or food science.
  • Experience as a Certification Specialist and familiarity with regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of USDA organic standards and certification procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
