Scientific Community-Building Fellow

• Build the plant-based meat research community by engaging professionals in physical sciences and engineering disciplines outside food science.
• Develop an outreach strategy to reach underrepresented disciplines in plant-based meat research.
• Translate scientific and technical concepts into language accessible to other academic disciplines.
• Create a database of key disciplines, individuals, forums, and develop audience-tailored outreach materials.

This role accelerates the development of plant-based meat alternatives by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, which is critical for creating sustainable and ethical food systems.

• Experience in scientific community building or outreach.
• Ability to translate scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Background in physical sciences or engineering preferred.
