Mission
What you will drive
Support NAD Country Offices and local Technical Working Groups in advancing reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities in Uganda, Zambia, and Zanzibar (Tanzania). Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct legislative/regulatory gap analyses and develop training packages for Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and government officials.
- Develop advocacy and monitoring toolkits on reasonable accommodation for OPDs.
- Provide remote mentoring and technical support for Training of Trainers and implementation of annual work plans.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Advanced degree in International Development, Social Policy, Disability Studies, or related field.
- Extensive experience (at least 5-9 years) in disability rights and policy analysis, with knowledge of disability rights instruments.
- Demonstrated experience developing practical tools, training materials, and advocacy resources.
- Strong ability to work remotely, build relationships, and deliver consistent results over an extended period.

What's in it for you
Contract from 01.09.2026 to 31.12.2029 (renewable up to 5 years). Total budget: NOK 1,100,000 (incl. statutory payments, VAT, taxes). First period (2026/27) budget: NOK 550,000. Work primarily remote with possible travel reimbursed. Framework agreement with call-offs.
