Assistant or Associate Director of Chapters

• Manage and support the existing network of ACS student and lawyer chapters across the country, including strategic expansion of new chapters.
• Facilitate individual chapter programming and coordinate national programming for ACS-wide leaders.
• Develop and plan signature events to raise money, raise ACS's profile, and broaden impact in key legal markets.
• Integrate chapter activities and members into ACS's substantive initiatives and ensure career-long engagement.

This role strengthens ACS's nationwide progressive legal network, empowering chapters to defend democracy, uphold the rule of law, and transform the legal system into a force for equality and justice.

• Campaign, organizing, or event planning experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to absorb and act on dynamic information.
• Excellent writing skills and sound judgment when collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of current legal and public policy issues; JD preferred.
