Mission

What you will drive

  • Develop and execute a market entry and growth strategy for Peak Energy in Australia, including target customer segmentation, competitive positioning, and go-to-market planning.
  • Lead business development across Australia, owning the pipeline of utility, IPP, commercial, industrial, and government customers from first contact through contract close.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial arrangements such as battery supply agreements, tolling and capacity contracts, and co-development structures.
  • Build and steward relationships with federal and state government stakeholders to align Peak Energy with Australian energy transition priorities.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 8+ years of business development, sales, or commercial origination experience in the Australian energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian National Electricity Market (NEM), state-based renewable energy programs, and the Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS).
  • Established network across the Australian energy ecosystem including utilities, IPPs, commercial and industrial buyers, developers, and government agencies.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, long-term commercial agreements with Australian energy buyers.
