Bid & Proposal Manager

• Identify, analyze, and qualify business opportunities relevant to Baastel
• Coordinate the development of high-quality technical and financial proposals in collaboration with technical experts
• Ensure contracting, budget follow-up, and financial compliance of awarded contracts
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants, and contribute to process improvement

This role directly contributes to securing funding for sustainable development projects that address environmental, social, and economic challenges globally, enabling Baastel to advance its mission of promoting inclusive and effective development.

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, administration, or related field
• 2 to 5 years of experience in business development and proposal writing, ideally in international development
• Experience coordinating proposals for institutional donors (EU, World Bank, UN agencies, etc.) strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English; Spanish is a plus

Annual bonus based on individual performance; for salaried contract in Quebec: 50% coverage of group health insurance, retirement savings plan contribution, 3 remote work days per week, and policy allowing remote work abroad. Compensation: CAD 51,000–58,000 gross annually (employee contract) or USD 150–200 per day (consulting contract).
