Mission

What you will drive

  • Develop and execute new organizing capacity building programs in collaboration with senior organizing leadership.
  • Assess organizing capacity gaps and identify programmatic solutions, training, learning spaces, and developmental opportunities.
  • Collaborate with campaigns, IU Organizing Hub, and local unions to implement capacity building strategies.
  • Create and write training materials including curricula, handouts, PowerPoint presentations, and interactive exercises.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Minimum 10 years of new (external) labor organizing experience, or a combination of 7 years external and 3 years internal/community organizing.
  • Minimum 7 years of campaign management experience, including supervising and developing organizing staff.
  • 3 years of experience in curriculum development and training; adult education experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to work with diverse teams.
